42/84 KP Samaj
Starting in the 1960’s and 1970’s, members of the 42/84 KP Samaj immigrated to the USA. These pioneers of our Samaj in the USA are Shri Manibhai from Kherol, Shri Shankarbhai from Chandrala, Shri Rameshbhai from Dabhoda and Shri Chandubhai from Shahpur. They continued their relationship with each other like a family. Over time, these 4 families grew to 113 families in 2001 and around 400 families in 2021.
In the year of 2021 ”42/84 KP Association of USA” alias ”42/84 KP Samaj of USA” was established in Virginia, USA. The purpose of this association is to cultivate and support the spirit of self-respect and preserve the Indian culture and will seek to foster support where possible. Additionally, the association will encourage and nurture a better understanding of and appreciation for our culture/values in the community, especially the younger generation. The association will also continue to celebrate and encourage participation of members in social, religious, and cultural events. I invite all of you to join as a lifetime member in this association.
The goal of this association is to provide a forum for all age groups to meet with fellow members to develop a social and professional relationship. It will build a social bridge of unity, understanding and networking upon which our future generations can sail and continue our rich and unique heritage.
Our Origin
42/84 KP Samaj originates from Various villages of Gujarat State. Majority of the Villages touch the Highway starting from Ahmedabad and ending at Himmatnagar. These villages accommodate the Kadva Patidars of our samaj and united by the same.
